TakeOne Chocolate Chip Pinwheels

Ingredients

• 1 bag TakeOne 500mg Infused Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

• 2 sheets of puff pastry dough

•  ½ Cup of powdered sugar

• ¼ cup of butter melted 

• 1 whole egg

• 1tbsp water

Supplies

• Pizza Cutter

• 1 baking tray

• Sifter(For powdered sugar garnish)

• Rubber baster(for eggwash)

• Cupcake tin

Recipe

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 

2. On a flat surface, roll out your first pastry sheet and smooth out any creases in the dough.

3. Take 16 oz of cookie dough and crumble it ontop of the sheet of pastry dough so that the surface area is completely covered. Lightly press the cookie dough into the pastry to create a smoother surface. 

4. Take your second pastry sheet and layer it evenly ontop of the cookie dough making a sandwich. Cut the cookie dough into 12 columns and roll the dough into itself in the shape of a cinnamon roll. 

5. Take each pastry and place them individually into a cupcake tin and set aside.

6. In a small bowl whisk together your egg and water until the contents are homogenized and fluffy.

7. Using your rubber baster, dust each pastry dough on top and place in the oven for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown. 

8. Let cool for 8-10 minutes and dust with powdered sugar to garnish.
